Trumpet artist Jake Robertson is an active artist and educator based in Greensboro, NC. He is graduating in May 2026 with a Doctor of Musical Arts degree in trumpet performance and a cognate in music theory pedagogy. In addition to his studies, Jake has performed with various professional ensembles in the southeast including the Greensboro Opera and the North Carolina Brass Band Quintet. Jake has performed in masterclasses with members of the Basel Symphony Orchestra, The Cleveland Orchestra, and the Atlanta Opera.

Prior to studying at UNCG, he earned his Master of Music degree in trumpet performance from the University of Maine, serving as a graduate assistant. He earned his Bachelor of Music degree in music education from Appalachian State University. Jake’s primary teachers have been Dr. James Stokes, Jr., Dr. Jack Burt, and Dr. Garrett Klein.
